Vefakâr bu şehir..
Mesela sizin eve dönmeden,
Görmesinler diye ayrıldığımız köşe,
Hâlâ aynı..
Ve o köşede,
Gelmeni beklerken dayandığm,
PTT kutusu şimdi yıllara dayanıyor,
Rengi bile değişmedi..
Bir de sokakta oynayan çocuklar vardı..
Belki birer yetişkin oldular,
Ve başka oyunların peşindeler,
Ama onların çocukları orada..
Manzara aynı..
Seninle tanıştığımız vapur bile,
Görevinin başında..
O zamanlar bile yaşlıydı,
Emekli edilir sanıyordum,
Onda bile yanılmışım..
Ve hava,
Bir güz günü gidişindeki kadar soğuk,
Geçen mevsimleri takip edemedim ama,
Hava hep aynı soğuklukta..
Dedim ya vefakâr bu şehir..
Her yeri aynı,
Zerre değişmedi,
Hâlâ kendini sevdirdiği gibi..
